Abstract

Among books, periodicals, newspapers, books are the publication with the longest printing cycle, most stable content, and largest variety. The traditional book publishing industry’s main products were physical books while the digital book publishing industry’s main products were electronic books. This case, structured as an industry note, will revolve around these two product forms. Case analysis extends through 2010 and explores the state of the book publishing industry and the performance of the stakeholders.
