Abstract

At Vanke’s quarterly management meeting in 2007, just as Mr. Zhao was reporting on trends in domestic and international markets, Chairman Wang Shi exploded in anger and publically criticized Zhao for his carelessness. Despite intense pressure, Mr. Zhao was able to maintain his composure and finish the presentation.
