The School will establish the CEIBS Research Center for International Cruise Economy starting from April 25, 2024, according to the decision by the Management Committee. The Center’s mission is to conduct research, develop policy recommendations, and provide social services focused on the international cruise industry, with the ultimate goal of becoming a preeminent think tank for China’s thriving cruise sector. The Center strives to become a world-renowned research institute that spearheads the research and development of China’s cruise industry while also driving innovation and progress in the global cruise sector. The operation model of the Center is consistent with other research centers in the School. Professor Wang Hong and Professor Katherine Xin will lead the Center.
