Abstract
This case describes how Kevin went from working in a manufacturing plant to becoming the founder of the Guangzhou’s Sifang Jie clothing company — and the process of exploration that led him to create an integrated designer brand platform.The case discusses the increasing competition in the apparel industry enterprise in the Internet age. Surrounded by product and service homogeneity, Sifang Jie worked to integrate resources, mine new selling points and create a new designer brand integration platform. This case is suitable for teaching strategic management and social media marketing, as well as for exploring the business models of designer brands, creation of e-commerce platforms and integration with offline operations. The case concentrates on improving students’ understanding of online marketing practices and service innovation.
