Abstract
At the end of 2012, Wu, the boss of an air conditioning distributer called Weida in Shantou, Guangdong, was preparing the 2013 business plan. Weida distributed seven air conditioning brands including Haier, Mitsubishi, Panasonic and Gree. Among them, Gree had the largest sales volume and inventory, and vendors required payment before delivery. But the other brands like Haier not only required no advanced payment, but also gave 20 days to 2 months of credit. Wu felt that the business environment of 2013 would be unstable. When it comes to the application of funds, should he continue financing through the guaranteed delivery and advanced payment method, or should he pursue other approaches to solve the problem of funds?
