Just the Yarest Intelligence (JYI) is a software provider that offers AI interviews and other HR solutions with a vision of using AI technology to help businesses find the right talent efficiently. However, Y Group, a well-known public company, raised serious concerns about JYI's AI interview tools. How could JYI's founder Fang Xiaolei and his team convince Y Group to purchase its product? Did AI interviews really work?
The case first introduces the company background and industry landscape, including Fang's personal experiences and his original vision for AI interview tools, the applications of AI in HR SaaS, and JYI's competitors. It then moves on to describe how JYI iterated its main product AI RecruiTas three times and improved service processes to meet the needs of clients from different industries. Finally, the case looks at the challenges JYI faced during its encounter with Y Group, specifically, the client's concerns or doubts and competitors' actions.
